Submission Guidelines
The Redemption Festival is now accepting submissions for its event on Saturday, November 14th at Calvary Palisades. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, October 1st, 2026 and will be strictly enforced. If your play is selected as one of our 7 winners, you will receive a $250 cash prize. You will have the option of producing your play or exploring the option of The Redemption Festival producing your play.
- Playwrights may submit up to three plays.
- Plays must run 10 minutes, plus or minus one minute.
- All plays must be suitable for a general audience.
- No more than five characters, with limited props and/or costumes.
- Minimal technical requirements.
- No fee required.
- Submissions capped at 150 scripts.
Submissions must include a COVER LETTER with the author's name and contact information, including phone number and email, a brief paragraph describing the synopsis of your play, and the finished play in PDF format with the TITLE ONLY on the script. The author's name should be left off all script pages so submissions can be evaluated anonymously. Both the cover letter and the play need to be in PDF format. If you're submitting more than one play, include a separate cover letter for each.
